2025 Recipient Spotlight.

For more than 30 years, FR1ENDS of the CH1LDREN has been impacting generational change by empowering youth who are facing the greatest obstacles through relationships with professional mentors for 12+ years, no matter what. With their two-generation (2Gen) approach, they are leveraging their proven model to impact generational change for both youth and caregivers.

FR1ENDS of the CH1LDREN - Eastern Montana launched in the fall of 2022. In collaboration with Billings and Lockwood Schools and DPHHS Child and Family Services, they have 32 enrolled children. They’re honored to walk alongside the children and families who will be part of their lives for the next 12+ years. They meet children between the ages of 4-6 and work with them and their caregivers from pre-kindergarten through graduation and entry to post-secondary education and the workforce. They disrupt generational poverty and trauma, give children hope and belonging, and grow with each child. Visit their website to find out more https://friendseasternmt.org/.
